Glasgow's Paul Dearlove broke his right leg during Friday's game with Newport Gwent Dragons at Hughenden.

The back-row forward fractured his right fibula. It's terrible luck for Paul who made a try-scoring return to Glasgow starting XV after some impressive performances from the bench.

It is not known how long he will be out of rugby. However, he will probably miss Glasgow's two Heineken Cup matches next month – against Northampton Saints at Hughenden on Sunday 24 October and the away game against Toulouse five days later.

What a terrible blow for Paul after such a good performance on friday night. Hope his recovery is swift and he will be back in the team soon.

That really is a terrible shame. All the cheerleaders wish Paul well and hope his recovery is a swift one.
