The other club players are Elliot McLaren from Biggar, Ben Prescott from Aberdeen Grammar School FP, and Jonathan van der Schyff from Currie.
Milligan, McLaren, and Prescott are needed to increase the front-row numbers to the 10 required under Heineken regulations. Van der Schyff, a 21-year-off South African who joined Currie earlier this month, is in the squad of 34 as cover for Nathan Ross, who will be a long-term absentee because of a knee injury.
Ben Prescott has already played in Heineken rugby for Glasgow, appearing as a replacement against Cardiff in November 2001 when Glasgow won 47-32. Eric Milligan was in Glasgows European squad last season, though not called on for a match squad. Eric did feature in a couple of Celtic League games at the end of last season, performing well alongside Prescott.
Elliot McLaren, the 23-year-old, 16st 4lb Biggar prop played for Scotland's under-19 team in all four games in the 2001 world junior championship in Chile. Van der Schyff has played for South Africa Schools and his country's under-19 team as well as the Blue Bulls at under-19 and under-20 levels, and most recently the 6ft 5in, 17st lock forward was in Natal's Currie Cup training group.
Paul Dearlove has been included in Glasgow's squad despite his leg fracture. It is unlikely that he will be available for the first phase of Heineken matches next month, though the hope is that he could be available for selection for the December games.
