Colin Gregor is named among Glasgow's replacements
Glasgow have names three apprentices among the replacements for tomorrow night's game with Borders at Hughenden (ko 7.30pm).

Fergus Thomson, Colin Gregor and John Barclay join John Beattie who starts at No.8.

"We're making full use of our apprentice players," David Jordan, Glasgow's chief executive, pointed out in commenting on the team announcement.

John Barclay had his eighteenth birthday only in September, and if needed to play tomorrow, he would be making his first appearance in the professional game. The Scotland under-18 cap, who played in Dollar Academy's Scottish Cup-winning team last season, has made a late start to the season because of injury, though he has recently played in national under-19 trial matches - and for GHK (thanks Hugh).

Glasgow have also called up Colin Shaw and Eric Milligan from Glasgow Hawks.
