Canada suffered an embarrassing 51-6 loss at the hands of Italy at Stadio Tommaso Fattori in L'Aquila on Saturday in front of 8,000 fans.

Glasgow's Kevin Tkachuk co-captains Canada and couldn't hide his disappointment at the defeat.

"It's tough to take any positives out of a score-line like that," said Kevin. "At times we attacked well, the scrum held solidly and we did string some phases together. But, for the most part everyone made wrong decisions today and we didn't do enough around the pitch. We have a week to reflect and work toward next week and we're going to bounce back from this and put a big effort in against England."
