Glasgow's official website reports that Calvin now has 307 points, only four points adrift of his Glasgow colleague, Dan Parks.
Dan and Calvin are still far short of the Glasgow record that Tommy Hayes set with 1183 points.
Calvin has been in excellent form and since his two misses in the 36-22 win against The Borders earlier this month he has scored with 18 successive kicks – six conversions and 12 penalty goals.
Dan is on an ever better run, though that has been interrupted by Scotland duty. He has kicked 20 in a row – 14 in the Celtic League and then six in Heineken Cup matches before he switched into the Scotland squad for the autumn Tests.
Dan's 24 point haul in a 34-20 win against Ulster at Hughenden set a Glasgow record in the Celtic League.
But Calvin promptly broke Dan's record by scoring 26 points in the home victory against the Borders with a conversion and eight penalty goals. His penalty tally matched the league record that David Humphreys had set for Ulster against Neath in November 2001.
Calvin stands fifth in the league's list of scorers this season with 67 points – behind Gavin Henson (Ospreys) on 97, Dan on 91, Paul Burke (Munster) on 80, and Paul Warwick (Connacht) on 69.
