European games to observe one minute silence

The teams in this weekend's Heineken Cup, European Challenge Cup and European Shield games have been invited to observe a minutes silence as a mark of respect for the victims of the disaster in South-East Asia and in solidarity with the population in the affected countries.

Jean-Pierre Lux, ERC Chairman, said: "The magnitude of the tragic disaster in South-East Asia has touched us all. ERC, on behalf of our sponsors, clubs and stakeholders, wish to convey our deepest sympathy to the countries in South-East Asia affected by the earthquake and to express our condolences to the families and friends of the victims of this tragedy."
