Glasgow players look forward to Ireland game

Euan is happy to get his chance to break into the International squad
Euan Murray is set to join his Glasgow Warriors colleagues, as Scotland put the French game behind them and start preparations for the arrival of the Ireland squad.

Prop Euan, who is returning following an eight week ban for stamping which ended on 2 February, said: "I'm just happy to be back playing and be involved with the squad. Hopefully I can get a couple of games under my belt and I might have a chance of playing later in the Six Nations. I'm just glad to be part of it all."

Scotland captain Gordon Bulloch said: "What's gone is gone, we can't get bogged down with France, we need to move on and concentrate on a tough game against the Irish."

Centre Andy Craig added: "A good defensive performance can win a game on its own by forcing the opposition to make mistakes. It's up to me to up my own game so I continue to be selected. Maggs and Horgan are more direct runners than O’Driscoll and D’Arcy so defending against them will be different from what we expected."

Winger Sean Lamont continued: "Hopefully with more ball in hand this week I can show what I can do. Ireland are still very dangerous although missing two key players. We've been doing the hard work, it had been a hard heavy week before France, hopefully it will pay off."

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

Hmm have to wonder if the chap would have been the better option against the French than Kerr?

Obviously this was all part of an elaborate plan by the SRU to disguise our true presence in the front row until the Murrayfield fixture?

SRU give him an 8 week break as well. Maybe we where wrong to criticise them?
