Rory Lamont to face Wales

Rory set to join his brother, Sean, on the wing for Scotland
Rory Lamont is said to be starting against Wales for his first Scotland cap this Sunday at Murrayfield.

BBC Sport has learned that the 23-year-old will line up along with older brother Sean on the wings for Matt Williams' side.

The elder Lamont has been one of Scotland's best performers in the three tournament matches so far.

Former Australian rugby league centre Ben MacDougall is likely to start on the bench.

Rory Lamont, a product of Northampton Saints' academy, joined Glasgow, where Sean also plays, in September.

Simon Danielli and Simon Webster are the men who have featured on the wing opposite Lamont in the three previous Six Nations matches.

Gordon and Alan Bulloch, and John and Martin Leslie, are the most recent siblings to play in the dark blue of Scotland.

But perhaps the most famous brother pairing, is Gavin and Scott Hastings, who helped Scotland win the Grand Slam in 1990.

Wouldn't that be great to have the two Lamonts on the field? Young blood, definitely Scottish!! both earned their place, no politics, no bias (Well, we have an Oz coach what do you expect, etc!)
Who could complain except an Edinburgh supporter? Play them MW, you can't lose! Which one is going to score the first try then? :)

If correct, the most delicious part of it is that the SRU/Edinburgh site will be choked by Edinburgh fans apoplectic with rage.

Yes!!!!!!! Well done to Rory. I'm glad MW is attempting to freshen things up. And why not? We have nothing to lose.

Great news for the Lamont family! Deserved on performances and looking forward to seeing both Sean and Rory run at the Welsh backs - hope they get enough of the ball!! Their mum will be pleased too! (Such a nice woman, by the way!!)

Ive grew up with Rory and one thing that has made him different to all my other friend is his will to win and determination to succeed. He's always has his heart set on being capped by his country and his dream came true on Sunday! Well done mate!
