David Jordan thinks the Celtic League will be boosted by the success of Ireland and Wales
David Jordan, the new tournament director of the Celtic League, believes that the success of Wales and Ireland in this year's Six Nations will boost hopes that the competition will be recognised as comparable to England's vaunted Zurich Premiership.

David, the former chief executive of the Glasgow professional team, believes the Celtic League will rival any other northern hemisphere tournament in the quality of players on show week-in, week-out.

"The Six Nations has been a revelation and when you look at the stars of the tournament – among them Rhys Williams, Gavin Henson, Brian O'Driscoll, Ronan O'Gara and Chris Cusiter – and realise that all these individuals are involved in the Celtic League, then we have got a really attractive proposition for would-be sponsors and a competition which can only improve in the future," said David in today's Herald.
