Jean-Claude and Scott look to have hit it off
On Scotland's recent trip to Romania Scott Lawson met up with someone else who hasn't let a lack of inches get in the way of a successful career - Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Star of such classics as Universal Soldier and...er...Universal Soldier: The Return, Jean-Claude was in Romania working on a new movie and met up with the Scotland boys. The team were also lucky enough to meet up with Jean-Claude's co-star Christina Milian, who I'm informed is a popular singer/actress.

Our Romanian correspondent tells me that the Hollywood pair were in Bucharest to make a movie called "Second in Command," which is being directed by Simon Fellows. In the film, Jean-Claude plays an official who's just been appointed as "Second In Command" to the U.S. Ambassador at an American Embassy in a small, turbulent Eastern European nation. When local insurgents attempt a coup d'etat, the nation's President takes refuge inside the embassy. The embassy is then besieged by the well-armed insurgents. At this point the plot thins. The U.S. Ambassador is killed in the ensuing action, and now it's up to Jean-Claude and the embassy's small detachment of U.S. Marines to fend off the attackers. Hmmm....think I'll wait for the book to come out...

You can see a couple of photos of the star-struck Scotland squad here

Many thanks to Fiona for the photos

You'd laugh too if you saw someone with a hand growing out of their elbow.
