Steve's injury isn't as bad as first feared
The hand injury Glasgow Warriors' back-row forward Steve Swindall suffered in the win over Rotherham Titans last weekend is not as bad as first feared.

Steve spent Saturday night in hospital and it was thought initially he may have suffered a tendon tear in his right hand, though it has now been confirmed that was not the case.

Glasgow Warriors' doctor Gerry Haggerty reported today: "The wound is healing remarkably well. I will see him again later today but we're hopeful he'll be returning sooner rather than later."

Warriors' head coach Hugh Campbell added: "Steve could be back in training potentially next week, which is obviously good news for us."
