Cusiter is out to make amends for the Reivers defeat to Edinburgh on Boxing Day by steering them to a crucial Celtic League victory over Glasgow Warriors.
And he's looking forward to his personal battle at Netherdale with Warriors skipper Graeme Beveridge. "Beveridge has been around the pro-scene for quite a while so he knows the ropes," said Cusiter in the Daily Record.
"I have never actually played against him but I have seen enough of him to know that I will have my work cut out.
"He is a pretty strong wee guy but if Sam Pinder is involved he will also be a handful.
"But we can't let ourselves worry too much about individuals because Glasgow have proved to be a strong unit.
"They blew away Edinburgh and gave Bath a run for their money in the Heineken Cup.
"We are more competitive than we were a year ago but there is also no doubt that we will have to improve many aspects of our game if we want to get the better of Glasgow."
