Tim spent time on the fringes of the Ulster team but his opportunities to impress were limited. He has been an ever-present in the Warriors team since missing the first Celtic League game of the season with an ankle injury. Over that time he has become something of an unsung hero for Glasgow with some great diplays both in defence and making the hard yards.
It's clear Tim is relishing the game time he's being given and he's looking forward to tomorrow's derby match with the Reivers. "It is the first time, for example, that I have really played European Cup rugby," Tim said in The Times, "and playing a couple of weeks ago against Danny Grewcock, who is producing some of his best rugby at 33, brought home to me that, at 24, I still have a lot of time ahead of me.
"The atmosphere of these derby matches is always intense and having played in a few in Ireland, I am really looking forward to it. These are the occasions that you play for. You wake up in the morning with a feeling in your stomach that this is a must-win game and there is real pressure. These games are always big challenges, huge battles up front, which is what I enjoy."
