Scott Forrest has been called into the Scotland 7s squad
Glasgow Warriors' apprentice and former Scotland Under-21 back row forward Scott Forrest has been called up into the Scotland 7s squad for the IRB Sevens tournaments in Wellington, New Zealand and Los Angeles, USA next month.

The Hawks' back row man will replace the injured Rob Dewey who dislocated his shoulder for a second time in his return match for the Edinburgh Gunners against London Wasps in the Heineken Cup last Saturday.

Coach Rob Moffat said: "Scott has been training well and deserves his chance. He is a dynamic back row forward with good skills and with his attitude these attributes will further develop in this positive environment."

In Wellington (3 and 4 February) Scotland face England, Australia and Papua New Guinea before heading to Los Angeles (11 and 12 Febraury) where they will take on Fiji, Argentina and Uruguay.
