It's not the first time that Warriors fans have read about players leaving, players on loan or players heading back to their country of birth through 3rd hand info...ie. newspapers.

Why aren't the SRU PR machine or the Glasgow Warriors PR machine actually keeping the fans know what's going on at their club?

There's the official SRU website, there's the Glasgow Warriors official website and there's this website. Yet no official press releases or material released from the SRU to those official avenues for mention of the player departing on loan yet it's in the newspapers.

How do the SRU expect to re-attract previous fans or attract new fans through the gates when those fans are being kept in the dark over things that are affecting the club?

Yet another example of the SRU placing the fans at the back of the queue.

checked the Wsps website -no mention of their guy either. So has the rag got it wrong; is someone breaching confdentiality before everything is sealed; or are Wasps as bad at comms as we are? (their coach is Geech after all)

It's mentioned in the French press, French Yahoo and the fans' forum on Pau's website too.

Joe Mbu HAS been released by Wasps. Allow twenty-four hours for the SRU spin machine to waken up, get showered, shaved and dressed and we'll eventually be told that Paul Dearlove has also been released.

If it's up to Hugh Campbell, his next appearance will probably be for Ayr!

So it was on Pau's web-site on 25 January and on Wasps' web-site on 27 January, but denied all along by Glasgow and the SRU. Have they even announced it yet? Do they expect ANYBODY to trust them?
