The Glasgow skipper has been frustrated by his side's lack of consistency and wants them to rack up back-to-back victories.
He stressed: "We need to start building up a bit of form. We have played well this season, but it has been sporadic. That has to stop.
"Every time we have performed well and won a game we have struggled the following week. We can't allow that to happen in what will be another tough game for us.
"Sure, this is my 150th game for Glasgow, but the only statistic I will be concerned with is the final scoreline. Hopefully, it will be in Glasgow's favour."
JP is in the running for a recall to the Scotland side for their Six Nations opener against France at Murrayfield on Sunday week.
He added: "If anybody wants to use this game to further their claims for a start against France then that is fine. Just as long as Glasgow win."
