Andy says there is even better to come from Scotland
While looking ahead to tomorrow's match against Wales, Andy Henderson promises to build on last week's win against France.

Andy has paid tribute to the composure, confidence and fitness levels which allowed Scotland to score a major upset over France last Sunday.

And the 26-year-old Scotland and Glasgow Warriors centre insisted that this was no flash in the pan, but was a solid foundation upon which the team plan to build a series of strong performances in this season's Six Nations and beyond.

"We took the lead early on and managed to stay in front all the way through. That is pretty pleasing because it is a hard thing to do in international rugby - especially against a team like France, who are capable of scoring tries from anywhere," he said.

"Our fitness was an important factor because going into that second half we knew we had to be ready to withstand everything they threw at us, and, despite their late try, I do not think we were ever really in danger of throwing it away."

"The big thing was that in defence we held our shape really well and our work-rate was really good - everyone wanted to make their tackle and then work hard to get back in position."

"We knew they were going to come hard at us in the second half and it was just a case of keeping our composure. When they scored that try in the corner, a lot of people watching the match will have feared the worst - but we were always fairly comfortable that we had what it takes."

"We knew we just had to win back possession and hold on until the end, and that is what we did."

"It was a great win, but that is all it was. It does not make us world-beaters. The important thing is that we use Sunday's result as a launchpad for even better performances in future - starting with Wales at the weekend."
