Sean Lineen was impressed with James Eddie and John Barclay
Glasgow may have gone down to another agonising defeat, but new head coach Sean Lineen saw enough in his team's performance to offer hope for the future.

He said in The Scotland on Sunday: "The pride and passion in the Glasgow jersey that has been missing so far this season was back and I am delighted with that.

"I am also pleased with the manner in which our younger players performed - players like James Eddie and John Barclay. It's not an easy place to come and the Ospreys had plenty of ball. However, they stood up to the challenge and that has to serve us well for the future.

"As far as I am concerned, I am cheesed off with the result, but I am not just here for this game and five or six others. I am here for two years at least. There is a job to do and tonight was a start."
