The second row player is being freed by Newcastle Falcons at the end of the season but The Herald reports that Sean Lineen insists there is no chance of Grimes returning to Glasgow.
Sean told The Herald: "Grimes is not on our shopping list. We have made two very important signings in Francisco Leonelli and Thom Evans and we are anticipating bringing four other men to Glasgow."
