G-Dog to return, no doubt, with Hefin moving back to the wing. Stuart Corsar will be a more than capable replacement for Ben.

I am confident we will pick up the five points we need in Galway. I am concerned, however, Dragons will have a few players missing for their visit to Netherdale. I would be very surprised if they didn't rest some of their first-choice men with their play-off match coming up.

Stuart Corsar is a great player however i think it is somewhat wishful thinking that Prescott will not be missed. Corsar is after all the thrid choice and it seems likely if he starts Kevin will be playing tight head, not his preferred side.

As for Rory, how long do these things keep you out for?

After his recent performances, and call up to Scotland squad, I really don't think we have any need to worry about Stuart Corsar starting. He has proven he has the attitude and ability.

Well done Stuart on making the Scotland squad but two scrums against Leinser and he was knackered. Starting a game and playing for at least the first half might be a push too far.

Best of wishes to the guys, remember quite a few folk suffering from shin splints throughout my four years at uni, was a pretty horrendous injury, there never seemed to be a real recovery timeline some were back fairly quick others were out for a long time.

Shin splints? Since when has 'sore legs' been an injury? I have had shin splints several times and I can assure you that if I was involved in a game as important as this one, it would not stop me playing.
That said, we just have to hope the lads can look to their laurels and pull it off on Saturday. As for the Rievers game... I shall be a Tom Jones fan that day.

A budding little Dr. Kildare we have here.

Obviously Saturday's game is important but surely not so important that one of Scotland's few top-class wingers should risk fracturing his shins and missing out on international duty in the summer?? I'd much rather see a fully-fit Rory working his magic on the wing for Scotland than have him struggling to play through terrible pain this weekend! And for examples of the numerous wierd and wonderful injuries that can befall rugby players see 'Wilkinson, J'...

Shin splints is one of the most painful injuries and it can keep you out for years. I ended up having to have an operation to remove the bone fragments from the muscle. Sense of humour failure afterwards.

I agree that G-Dog at centre with Hefin on the wing certainly wouldn't weaken the side... Lamont hasn't really reached the level of of his early season performances in this campaign.
C'mon Glasgow!!!!!!!!!!
