Whether you're a rugby nut or don't know the difference between a scrum or a lineout – it doesn’t matter. Don't miss the opportunity of seeing some of Scotland's top rugby players this Thursday.
The session, which will be entirely open to the Scottish public, will be held in George Square. So come along to meet the boys at 12.30pm-1.00pm.
The players are now just days away from embarking upon their November internationals against Australia, the Pacific Islanders and Romania, which start next week and are making the trip along the M8 from their usual Murrayfield training base, to show their support for Scotland's bid to host the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Fittingly, the Glasgow Warriors captain and Scotland lock, Alastair Kellock, commented: "It's just one year to go before the decision is made on who hosts the 2014 Commonwealth Games. This is a great Scottish bid and it's up to all of us to get right behind it and bring the Games here and put Glasgow on the world stage.
"Let's make sure sport plays a larger part in our lives, whether it's taking part in rugby like us or simply being encouraged by seeing your favourite athlete, to lead a more active lifestyle. I believe bringing the cream of the Commonwealth's athletes here to Glasgow in 2014 could have a huge impact on the youth of Scotland. So bring it on!"
Scotland head coach Frank Hadden added: "Rugby will be one of five sports guaranteed to play a huge part in 2014 if the Scottish bid is successful and the benefits will be felt by everybody.
"It's important that not just Glaswegians but everybody pledges their support. You really can make a difference so come along this Thursday lunchtime to see some of the players in George Square and sign up to back the bid on the website today."
The players will be using the George Square training session as preparation for the Bank of Scotland Corporate Autumn Tests for the three matches against Romania (11 November), the Pacific Islanders (18 November) and Australia (25 November) at Murrayfield.
