But the Warriors coach was most impressed with the performance of his forwards during the game at the Sergio Lanfranchi stadium.
Sean said: "Players such as Stevie Swindall and Kevin Tkachuk, who have not played much this season, were excellent. But all the forwards were outstanding during the game.
"It was not a mistake-free game for us but we are delighted with the win.
"They made it hard for us at times but we had better players on the day."
Glasgow will now entertain Saracens in the final pool game on Friday 19 January at Hughenden (kick-off 7.30pm).
