Shade Munro will take charge of Scotland's A team
Glasgow Warriors assistant coach Shade Munro will take charge of Scotland A for the game against Italy A at McDiarmid Park in Perth on Friday 23 February (ko 7.30pm).

Shade will be joined by Bob Easson, who has been named as assistant coach for the match against the Italians.

Former Scotland international Munro has helped to guide the team to the European Challenge Cup quarter-finals this season.

He also represented Scotland A on six occasions between 1992 and 1996 and began his coaching career with Glasgow Hawks before joining the Warriors in 2003.

Bob Easson is high performance rugby coach with the Scottish Institute of Sport where he has been based since November 1999.

He has a wealth of coaching experience after working with Scotland Under-18, Under-19, Under-21 and Development XV teams. He was also previously head coach with Edinburgh Rugby and, for many years, with Caledonia and their predecessors, North & Midlands.

Good to see the job the Glasgow coaches are doing being recognised. Hopefully he'll have a few familiar faces in his team and we'll see a good performance from those pressing for a RWC place.
