Alastair Kellock has issued a rallying call to Glasgow fans
Skipper Alastair Kellock has made an appeal to the Glasgow fans living down south to get along to Vicarage Road in Watford to support the Warriors when they take on Saracens in the European Challenge Cup.

Dear Supporter

As the captain of the Glasgow Warriors, I am writing to highlight our crucial European Challenge Cup quarter-final match against Saracens this weekend (Sunday 1 April).

It's an enormous game for us as it's the furthest a Scottish side has ever reached in this competition. We have played Saracens twice this season, narrowly losing 28-23 at Vicarage Road back in October before drawing 6-6 at Hughenden in Glasgow last January.

This is why I am writing to you. The support we received at Hughenden was a major factor in grinding out the important draw that guaranteed us a place with the last eight teams.

We need your support on Sunday, it's as simple as that. The more voices we can hear in the crowd shouting on the Warriors, the better for our guys down on the pitch. Saracens are on form just now so we need every possible advantage we can take.

I, and my team mates, would be honoured if you would come and support us at Vicarage Road. It's not often that a Scottish side comes to play on your doorstep so I'd urge you to take this chance to see us in action.

Tickets can be purchased from the Saracens website (www.saracens.com/tickets) so book yours today. Tickets are priced at £22, £15 for concessions and £8 for juniors. Warriors' fans have the opportunity to sit together to cheer on the team, so ask for a seat in Block L. Come and watch the Warriors!

See you on Sunday

Alastair Kellock
Captain, Glasgow Warriors
