I know Bevvy has a lot of detractors on here but I've always thought he was a good player so I'm one who is sorry to see him go but wish him all the best in Bristol.

Now surely we have to make sure Chris Cusiter is with us next season.

Given the fountain of eternal youth which they have at the Memorial Ground, well just look at Hilts! This will probably see Bevvy carry on for yonks.

Certainly tonight it looks as if Chris Cusiter's heading to France to continue his rugby career.

Just as many of the Borders players are talking to clubs in England, France and Wales.

After the last five or so years under the SRUs thumb, don't blame them for looking elsewhere other than heading to Glasgow.

Yes, you will be greatly missed by the Glasgow fans, Bevvy ...not just for the immense contribution on the field (I think you have started every game this season due to your secret of eternal youth or, more likely, the hard work you put in to keep up).. but also for your understanding of the importance of the fans to this game!
