Rory has been instrumental in Glasgow's surge in form and he admits the revival of the Warriors' fortunes under Sean Lineen has left a massive impression on him.
Rory told The Scotsman: "I can't have any personal regrets about heading south because you try and experience as much as you can during your career and answer fresh challenges.
"But it has been an absolute pleasure to be part of this Glasgow squad and I would not rule out a return here.
"We have come from the foot of the table to emerge as a team who are beating all the title contenders - and that is mainly down to teh influence of Sean Lineen. He has the precious knack of knowing how to get the best out of players.
"I have watched him grow and mature as a coach. He is still learning, however he has already got himself into the outstanding category.
"Our form and level of performance over the past few months has been exceptional.
"We are the hot team in the league and if only we could have played like that before Christmas, we would have been going for the championship.
"I believe the Warriors will be even stronger and genuine contenders next season."
