Some very good players at this age-grade this year...Gray, Fusaro, McInally, Loudon...all got a big future in the game I would think.

It's good to see some guys who have opted for uni in England rather than the National Academy are being kept in the frame; and good to see there is still room for non-academy players to come through. Most impressively of all is that the team proves it is possible to start your rugby career anywhere in Scotland - Greenock, Annan, Bishopbriggs, Cupar - and if you're good enough there is a pathway for you to make it to the top.
There seems to be a wee bit worry about the players being undercooked in terms of rugby (especially on the Edinburgh Accies website, no doubt prompted by Mr Barnes!) and on that score it does seem slightly odd that Andy White (who I think has yet to start a game for Hawks) is at 10, while Conor Davis who has dominated for West in so many games this year and last (and has been picked up by Lineen to play in Glasgow Back Up games) isn't even in the squad...that said, I hope Mr White goes out and proves why he's been picked with a great performance.

Anyone watch it on BBC Wales? Richie Gray Mate...a giant in every sense, with Nick Campbell not far behind with some rollicking runs in open play. Fusaro - buzzing everywhere. Peter Horne - looks the real deal for Glasgow. And Pyrgos and 9 looks a strong player. Great result. Scotland 18 Wales 17
