The temporary stands behind the posts at Scotstoun were scheduled to be removed this weekend, while staff based at the Warriors' home are due to relocate this week. Scotstoun, owned by Glasgow City Council, will host athletics events during next month's Commonwealth Games.
However, the Warriors will continue to train at Scotstoun throughout the week before their semi-final at Murrayfield.
Smith told Scotland Rugby News: "We're going to train here Monday, Tuesday and then Thursday we'll have a training session at Murrayfield, just to make that home advantage count where we can."
Smith also stressed that selection would continue to be based on form and fitness, with recovery set to play a key role after his side were pushed hard by the Irish opposition in Friday night's quarter-final victory.
George Horne is the main injury concern after being forced off with a hand injury during the win. Huw Jones has also been sidelined for several weeks, although Smith remains hopeful the British & Irish Lion, who will join Toulon this summer, can return before the campaign concludes.
"We are looking forward to recover the boys and I'm treating every game on merit so the team that we're going to look at must also be best prepared in all aspects.
"Recovery in this week is going to be very important. We've got one benefit, the team that we'll play will travel this week and we don't, so it is going to be my job to make sure that we take every benefit and every home advantage that we can."
Smith also confirmed Glasgow would not stay overnight in Edinburgh ahead of their last-four showdown, a repeat of the 2024 final that the Warriors won in dramatic fashion in Pretoria to claim the title.
"Why would you not sleep in your own bed," he said.
"There's always challenges when you play away from home and sleep away from home so again, we'll make sure we stay through as much as we can."
