Alex Dunbar starts for Glasgow at Ravenhill
Selkirk and National Academy winger Alex Dunbar will start for Glasgow in tomorrow's Magners League match with Ulster at Ravenhill.

The 20-year-old has appeared for Glasgow at every age level from U14 to U18, and he was Annan's U18 player of the year in both 2005-2006 and the following season.

A former pupil of Lockerbie Academy, Alex made his debut for Annan Colts at the age of 14, and after just two years at youth level made the step up to Annan RFC's senior team.

He graduated in 2008 with an HNC from the Scottish Agricultural College at Auchincruive in Ayrshire and is a contracted player with the Scottish Rugby National Academy. He moved from Annan to Selkirk in 2008.

He played in all five of Scotland's matches in this year's IRB Junior World Championship in Japan and is in the initial squad selection of the 2009/10 Scotland U20 Six Nations.

Not quite.

Alex has played most of his career at centre, and that's where he plays at Selkirk (and Annan before that).
At 6'2 and 16st plus, he's definitely one to watch, and for a young lad he has a very mature temperament.
And yes, all the ladies want to mother him !
