Rob's looking for a lucky break

Rob Dewey has impressed despite an injury interupted season
It's been a frustrating season for Glasgow's Rob Dewey after his return to Scotland from Ulster.

Promising early form was interupted by a broken leg that kept him out until January only for the winger to break his hand playing for Gael Force in the British and Irish Cup.

Rob marked his return with two tries in the win over Leinster two weeks ago and he's eager for more as Glasgow bid for a home game in the Magners League play-offs.

“When I was hit with that second injury I thought my season was over,” he said in the Times. “It is great to be back, I was pretty happy with my two tries last week and I’m looking to kick on from there."

Rob will ine up against fellow Scotland international Sean Lamont who joined the Scarlets last summer. "It will be the first time I have played against Sean, I’m looking forward to it, two people who like physical rugby though you can never predict how the ball is going to run.”

When Rob was injured he and Justin Va'a looked after my 3 year old son, when he was a mascot for the Gloucester game at Firhill. They were both absolute gentlemen and a credit to the club.

If he can stay fit then he will score a barrel load of tries next season I am sure.

Not sure about the intermittent beard however. (Altough I suppose it reduces the chances of my wife trying to run away with him.)

This is a team we can be proud of today.

If Edinburgh pull one off for us on Sunday, we'll have a home semi.

Whichever way it goes, we should not be afraid to go anywhere and expect to win.

Well done boys!
