Words of wisdom win it for the Warriors

Richie Gray says he's picking up confidence every week
Richie Gray paid tribute to the guidance provided on the pitch and in the dressing room as Glasgow came from behind to secure a much needed 31-23 win over the Ospreys at Firhill.

The big lock put in a man of the match performance in the victory but he stresses the importance of leadership on and off the pitch.

“There was a lot of pressure on us because the start of this Magners League season hasn’t been too good, but John Barclay was great out there with good words and good encouragement while in the changing room Sean Lineen said the right things too, telling us to keep our composure,” said Richie in the Herald.

“The plan was to keep the ball and have a go at their blitz defence. They picked a team that was full of Lions and All Blacks. It was Test match intensity and they have one of the best defences in the league but so many of our players had a stormer today and for myself personally I’m just picking up confidence every week.”

Gordon - it comes from years of people pulling my stuff apart. Shame you changed it, it was quite funny.
