Sean Lineen says his players want to put things right on Friday
Glasgow Warriors head coach Sean Lineen says he and his players held an "honesty session" in the wake of last weekend's 37-8 defeat to Connacht.

The defeat left the Warriors - who face the Dragons at Firhill on Friday - second from bottom in the Magners League.

Sean told BBC Scotland: "There was a bit of laying down the law. We had the meeting not because of the defeat but because of the manner of it.

"The players, though, admit it's not good enough and want to put things right on Friday.

"They haven't become bad players, just like we haven't become bad coaching staff.

"If you look at it, we've been without 17 players because they are injured or on international duty.

"When you look at Connacht, I don't think they had anyone on international duty. February is always a difficult time for us."

i know we have a lot of players away with scotland but to expect us to watch second rate players for about six games is not on. my wife and i go to every home game and at least three away games,we just got back from the game in wales.next season i think we will be missing this part of the season, very unhappy.
