Returning Warriors boost for Sean

Chris Cusiter's return is a major boost for Glasgow
Sean Lineen says the positives outweighed the negatives in Glasgow's 19-16 defeat to Benetton Treviso last weekend.

Sean stressed that the sight of fit-again Scotland pair Chris Cusiter and Graeme Morrison in full flight had left him full of anticipation for the future.

Sean told the Scotsman: "It was Chris's first appearance for 11 months and he looked great. He performed all the basics superbly and was very sharp. Graeme was also very influential on the contest and scored an excellent try. Having these guys back is a major boost.

"I was also delighted with the displays of Richie Vernon and Aly Muldowney up front. You have to remember that Treviso very seldom lose on home-turf and I was generally pleased with how we competed.

"We could well have edged it had we taken a couple of better tactical options and turned our pressure into points at important moments."

Sean also praised the contribution of Glasgow's travelling support, saying: "Sixty or seventy Warriors fans made the trip - but from the noise they made you would think there had been ten times that number. The atmosphere was terrific and they were just as loud as the 4,000 Treviso people!"
