The players moving on leave big boots to fill. It's already been announced that the old heads, Bernardo Stortoni and Kevin Tkachuk, will be leaving at the end of the season while it's emerged that another Glasgow favourite, James Eddie, hasn't been offered a new contract with the Warriors.
Aly Muldowney is moving to Exeter after just one season at Firhill but the big lock made a positive impact in his short time with Glasgow.
Max Evans is moving to Castres while Richie Vernon will be playing his rugby with Sale Sharks next season.
It's sure to be an emotional night at Firhill on Friday for both players and supporters - a point not lost on Richie Vernon. He told the Scotsman: "Personally, it's pretty emotional now to think that is my time in Glasgow coming to an end, and that Friday night will be the last time in front of the Firhill support. When I made the decision to leave it was sad, and I knew I would miss this place, but the prospect of a summer building up to a World Cup and then moving to Sale has been great to look forward to.
"Now, though, I think all the guys leaving are feeling quite sad because Glasgow has been good for all of us. Last season was great for the club and I would have hoped that we could have moved on this season, and although we haven't, I know that I have improved a lot as a player in my four years at Glasgow and feel that I've achieved a lot."
