Ae fond farewell

Bernie made sure there wasn't a dry eye in the house
Friday's match gave Glasgow supporters a chance to say thank you and good luck to the Warriors who will be moving on at the end of the season.

At the final whistle James Eddie, Aly Muldowney, Kevin Tkachuk, Bernardo Stortoni and Richie Vernon were joined by the injured Max Evans to take a bow in front of the Firhill faithful one last time.

Big Jim, Aly and T-Bone had already received ovations from the Jackie Husband stand in the second-half as they made way for their replacements.

After the match and surrounded by the entire Glasgow squad, as well as backroon staff, skipper Alastair Kellock paid tribute to the big contribution the departing players had made during their time with the club.

There were also presentations and speeches in the supporters bar after the match with CEO Kenny Baillie joining the players to say his own goodbye to the Glasgow fans.

There were some great speeches from Big Al, Kenny, Aly, T-Bone, Bernie and Big Jim - and plenty of tears and snotters too.

Best of luck to all the guys moving on and many thanks for all your efforts on and off the pitch.

I for one will really miss Bernie - always thought this is the kind of guy you keep until his legs seize up and then make him a coach!
