Mark Bennett is in demand
Glasgow coach Sean Lineen hopes Mark Bennett can be persuaded to stay in Scotland despite interest by French giants Clermont Auvergne.

The elite development player makes his Glasgow debut in tonight's Magners League match with Leinster and Sean hopes the Ayr youngster will be with Glasgow next term. “Talks are on-going, but I’d like to think he’ll be with us next season,” said Sean in the Herald. “He’s certainly in this week because he’s good enough and we’ve got a good track record of bringing through youngsters. The timing is just right for his introduction with the experience of Chris Cusiter and Graeme Morrison in the side and a quality defender outside him in Freddie Aramburu.”
