Pumas edge out Scotland

Argentina edged out Scotland 15-14 in the Junior World Championship ninth place play-off in Rovigo, Los Pumitas.

Argentina led 15-7 at half-time with Scotland's points coming from a Sean Kennedy try and conversion from Duncan Weir.

Stuart Hogg added a converted try midway through the second period but the Scots couldn't find the score that would have given them a ninth place finish.

Gossman scored third try of tournament not Hogg as stated.
