Gregor told glasgowwarriors.org: "I felt we created so much during the game and got a great try towards the end after going through a number of phases. We did enough to get the win but Leinster just had a bit more experience and were smarter at winning penalties around the breakdown.
"It's credit to our players the way they opened Leinster up; they played at a real pace, clearing rucks quickly, offloading and getting immediate support to the ball carrier. A performance like that really puts your fitness under pressure but our players kept going, which is credit to our conditioning coaches and the work the players have put in during the course of the season.
"It was a real squad effort and our bench helped us keep up the tempo in the final quarter of the match. Mark Bennett is still in the Scotland U20s and he's going to the Junior World Cup next month, so for a guy like that to come on and play so well it's a great sign for the future.
"The team have all improved and progressed during the season, they enjoy the rugby they know they can play and they like playing at a quick tempo. We know we have to be better though to get to a final.
"There are a lot of things we learnt during the game, which we will help us for next season. I'm delighted with the group of players we have - it's a squad that is hungry to improve and I know they'll be even more determined to win silverware next season.
"I'd like to thank all our supporters who travelled to Dublin last night. They've supported the team home and away in big numbers this season and everyone at the club really appreciates it. We look forward to seeing them all again next season."
