Former Glasgow Warriors scrum-half Graeme Beveridge will rejoin the club later this month as Rugby Operations Manager.

The former Scotland international played for Glasgow between 2002 and 2007 and made 118 appearances for the RaboDirect PRO12 side. He was part of the Scotland squad at the 2003 Rugby World Cup in Australia

After leaving the Warriors he moved to Bristol Rugby and most recently has been a Private Wealth Consultant in Bristol.

Graeme told glasgowwarriors.org: “I’m very excited to be returning north to rejoin the Warriors.

"I really enjoyed my five years in Glasgow as a player and this is a great opportunity for me to return to the club in a new role within the management team.

"It’s an exciting time for the club and I’m looking forward to working with all the players and staff.”

Glasgow Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend said: “Graeme played a big role here as a player and this is a great opportunity for him to come back and play his part off the field.

“In the new role Graeme will be responsible for managing the rugby operations and we're looking forward to him joining us later this month."
