Robbie has already shown his bravery and persistence to come back from cancer and Glasgow's assistant coach says the young utility back has the skills to make it to the top.
Robbie came off the bench in last week’s defeat by the Scarlets at Scotstoun and he's in line to make his first start against Connacht on Friday.
It is less than a year since the 22-year-old was given the all-clear.
Kenny, who coached Robbie at Ayr, told the Daily Record: "Robbie first played for me when he was only 16 in a British and Irish Cup quarter-final against Bristol.
“From that day on, I never doubted he would be good enough to be a pro.
“The levels of resilience and determination he showed during his illness were incredible.
“Even when he wasn’t well, the gym work he did and his general attitude expedited
his recovery and he was a great inspiration to everyone around him.
“He has come back in truly wonderful fashion and from a personal viewpoint, it was an absolute pleasure to see him in the pro-rugby environment on Saturday.”
