Adam Ashe is aiming to be back in action at the start of the new season

Glasgow Warriors backrower Adam Ashe has undergone surgery on a foot injury sustained in the PRO12 Play-Off against Connacht last month.

He underwent the procedure at BMI Ross Hall Hospital under the care of Orthopedic Surgeon, Bob Carter.

Adam is expected to remain on the sidelines for several months, with the aim of returning to action at the beginning of next season.
