Speaking to glasgowwarriors.org after the win, Gregor said: "We're very happy with the result. We were prepared for a tough game and Treviso really came into the game in the second-half. They made it difficult for us throughout, but we played with a lot of pace and skill in the first-half and to score the four tries was a huge boost.
"The changes and yellow cards meant we were never going to achieve the same fluency in the second half, but to get new players playing for the team now, ahead of a busy period for us, is great preparation for the coming weeks."
The Glasgow head coach went on to express his frustration at the decision to send-off Langilangi Haupeakui, with the American receiving two yellow cards on his Warriors debut.
Gregor said: "We're really disappointed with the first yellow card, especially. We saw the replay and Langi's used his arms in a good, low tackle. It was a double tackle and his impact wasn't that strong - it was Ryan Wilson who created most of the impact, so maybe that's what the referee has seen."
Glasgow's win, coupled with results elsewhere, means that the Scotstoun side sit top of the PRO12 after Friday's action. With a trip to the Scarlets next up, Gregor is prepared for a battle at the top of the standings.
He added: "It's obviously early in the season, but we're pleased we're in the mix at the top of the table. There were some upsets tonight, so to be the only home team to win this evening means we're glad to get the job done.
"Next week will be tough. Scarlets had a great win tonight, and we know we're going to have to manage our week really well to prepare."
