Scotland 7s win Commonwealth Gold

Johnny Ventisei led Scotland to victory at the Commonwealth Youth Games

Scotland defeated Fiji 25-20 after extra time to win 7s gold at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Trinidad and Tobago.

They are the first Scottish team ever to win a team medal at a Commonwealth or Commonwealth Youth Games.

The squad included Glasgow's academy trio Fergus Watson, Matthew Urwin and skipper Johnny Ventisei, while Warriors' scrum-half Sean Kennedy was part of the coaching team.
