Holland Bogan has impressed during Glasgow's Celtic Challenge campaign
Glasgow Warriors back-rower Holland Bogan is enjoying the "surreal" experience of playing in front of a noisy Scotstoun crowds.

The Warriors are chasing their first points of the Celtic Challenge on Saturday when they take on Irish side Clovers at Scotstoun.

"Playing at Scotstoun is surreal, especially with the crowds," said Bogan, who has impressed in Glasgow's opening three games.

"Even a simple line break got everyone cheering. I know Clovers like to travel so hopefully it'll be a bigger crowd. I'm excited.

"I feel like we are just as much part of the club now as the men are. It's good to also expose them to what the women's game looks like.

"It's great to edge the gap between club rugby and international. In Scotland it was just you went from club rugby to age grade.

"It's great that we're bringing more media attention as well. There's two teams from each nation and seeing the different skill level makes it really exciting."

Bogan's fellow forward Allie Tucker believes the Celtic Challenge campaign is improving her game.

"The Celtic Challenge has been fantastic, it's given more players more game-time and more chances to show what as a country what we can produce," she said.

"The sky is very much the limit, I think the game can just grow leaps and bounds from this and it can inspire younger players to see a bridging gap between club rugby and international.

"I'm really enjoying this, as a player it's bringing me a bit more of an edge that I think I didn't have for a little while and this is reaffirming that I am capable of playing at a higher level.

"The experience and knowledge of the coaches we've got is amazing. It's just little tricks of the trade and little things that I can use to improve my game. It's definitely making me a better player."
