The 29-year-old's form throughout the campaign to date saw him earn 64% of the public vote, beating Zander Fagerson and Sione Tuipulotu into second and third place respectively.
It is the fourth time that Horne has taken home the award, following previous successes in 2018, 2020 and 2023.
Horne has enjoyed a history-making campaign to date, most notably overtaking DTH van der Merwe by scoring his 55th try in Glasgow Warriors colours against the Emirates Lions last month to become the club's all-time leading try-scorer.
Five of those tries came in this season's Investec Champions Cup - a feat that also saw Horne become the club's top try-scorer in European competition -, whilst his conversion of Jamie Dobie's try against the Vodacom Bulls saw Horne move past the 500-point milestone for the Warriors.
It was an evening of double success for Horne, as the scrum-half also picked up the University of Strathclyde Try of the Season award for his solo effort against Sale Sharks at Scotstoun.
Sione Tuipulotu took home the Denholm Energy Services Players' Player of the Season award, having solidified his reputation as one of the northern hemisphere's premier midfield operators.
The centre's performances have seen him claim Player of the Match honours in victories away to the DHL Stormers, as well as in home triumphs over Edinburgh at Racing 92, during the 2024/25 campaign to date.
Ceitidh Ainsworth was named as the club's Women's Coaches' Player of the Season, the fly-half having shone throughout the 2024/25 Celtic Challenge campaign.
The squad's vice-captain led from the front throughout the campaign, making more tackles than any other back in addition to providing a key threat in attack.
The Women's Players' Player of the Season, in memory of Siobhan Cattigan, went to Freya Walker, the back-rower being recognised by her team-mates after a standout season in Glasgow colours.
A consistent presence in the matchday 23 across the Celtic Challenge campaign, Walker ranked inside the top-five in offloads, carries and tackles, providing a dynamic presence with or without the ball.
Jack Mann took home the Mackenzie Construction Most Improved Player of the Season prize, the back-rower having enjoyed a superb return to action after a long-term injury layoff.
After making his first competitive appearance for the club in 720 days against the Scarlets in November, the number eight has featured in 12 matches to date this season, scoring two tries and earning a first-ever call-up for a senior Scotland squad ahead of the 2025 Guinness Six Nations.
One of the standouts of this year's Guinness Six Nations was also recognised for their efforts, with Huw Jones earning the Harper Macleod Test Player of the Season accolade.
A hat-trick against Italy and a score in the Calcutta Cup clash with England saw Jones finish as Scotland's top try-scorer in the competition, as well as underlining his qualities in both attack and defence throughout the campaign.
The Famous Grouse Coaches Award was jointly-awarded to JP du Preez and Sione Vailanu, in recognition of the efforts of both players in their rehabilitation from long-term injuries.
Having missed the entire 2023/24 season due to a knee injury, du Preez's return to action against the Ospreys last month marked his first outing in 650 days, whilst Vailanu has been an ever-present in the matchday 23 since returning from 18 months on the sideline with a barnstorming display against Munster.
Jare Oguntibeju was named as the Elior Breakthrough Player of the Season, the second-rower having been a revelation in the engine room since making his professional debut for Glasgow Warriors last November.
The academy second-rower's performances saw him earn a first-ever professional contract, whilst a thundering display away to Toulon in the Investec Champions Cup was capped with a first try in Glasgow colours.
Josh McKay was the recipient of the Malcolm Group Leadership Award, the club's coaches highlighting the full-back's impact on and off the field.
A firm favourite amongst the Warrior Nation, McKay's consistency and communication have made him a key asset to the club, the former Kaiapoi man having recently agreed a new contract with Franco Smith's side.
The SP Energy Networks Community Hero of the Year, in memory of Jim Taylor MBE, went to Heather Bonnar of Kirkcaldy RFC, in recognition of her dedication to growing both the club and sport within her community.
Having been involved with the club for over 38 years, Bonnar's efforts include organising boot banks, clothing donations and sponsorship co-ordination, all designed to help make rugby accessible to all.
