The internationals were absent when pre-season began earlier this month after being involved in Scotland's summer Nations Championship campaign.
Sione Tuipulotu, Kyle Steyn and Rory Darge are among those due back when the full squad reconvenes at Scotstoun next week.
The Warriors have been training at West of Scotland's Burnbrae base while Scotstoun was unavailable due to the Commonwealth Games. They will initially use the grass pitches on their return while work on the new main pitch is completed.
Speaking last week, defence coach Scott Forrest told Scotland Rugby News: "We're halfway through our second week of pre-season with the non-international boys. After this, everyone's got a week off, like a reset week, where they'll have their own training to do away from Scotstoun.
"We won't be together. And then when we come back in, which is right at the end of August, start of September, everyone will be back in the building then. So those boys that were on tour with Scotland, they've got another couple of weeks.
"But, to be honest, we've seen most of them because that's all of them back in doing their own individual running. So most of them are using this as a training base."
Glasgow face Newcastle away in their first pre-season fixture before taking on Bath at Old Anniesland.
However, Forrest expects the players who have been involved throughout pre-season to form the bulk of the side for both matches.
"The group that's in training now, and like I said, they're training really well. That's the group that's going to play against Newcastle.
"We've already started those conversations with the boys about what that team will look like for Newcastle, just to get people ready for it. And that's probably going to be the core of the team that will play against Bath as well.
"Part of it is we want to give these guys an opportunity. They've worked hard over the off-season, they've come back in, they've trained really well. We want to give them an opportunity.
"And as we go into that first league game after Bath, for a month or so away, that's when we'll start to blend the team a little bit. Which is exciting because you've got a lot of good young boys there that have got an opportunity to put their hand up. This is their main window to go and do that.
"Then, obviously, the Scotland boys, because of what they've done over the summer, playing those Test matches, there's no real need for them to play in the pre-season games. They've had their chance to reset physically and mentally. Now they're building back up. And hopefully the plan works and we're ready to hit the ground running against Munster."
Glasgow open their URC campaign against Munster on September 26, when Franco Smith's Scotland internationals are expected to come back into contention.
