Ferrie made his Scotland U20 debut in the opening round of the 2021 Six Nations in Cardiff.
Ferrie is a product of Calderglen High School and first played rugby aged 5 years old at East Kilbride. He has previously represented Scotland U19 at age-grade level.
Outside of rugby he is an apprentice mechanical engineer.
