The Young Person's Service makes young peoples time in hospital a wee bit more bearable by providing activities and events to keep them amused.
We decided to raise money for this service as one of our committee members visited the service through her work and saw how little arts material they had and decided that instead of donating a sum of money to Yorkhill, we would buy them stuff to use in hospital.
After consultation with the young people who use the service, and also with one of our junior members who is a regular visitor to Yorkhill, we found that they would like us to buy them art materials, up to date games consoles with games and board games. So thanks to your raffle money and prize donations we will exceed our target for this year.
We will keep you updated on the total raised at the end of the season and will post pictures once we have given over the donations.
