Metcalfe can't understand Kerr's absence

Glasgow fans have been bemused this season by the absence of Rory Kerr from the Glasgow team.

Kerr looked set for great things after showing great form for Glasgow leading to a international debut on Scotland's tour to North America. It seems that the confusion isn't restricted to the fans.

In an interview with Kevin Ferrie in the February issue of Scottish Rugby Glenn Metcalfe echoes the feelings of the Hughenden faithful. "I can't understand his lack of involvement for Glasgow this season. I just think he is one of the best finishers, certainly for Glasgow. The selectors make their own decisions but Rory has not been given a chance this season. The Scotland management have got to see him play and if he's not playing for us it's pretty difficult. I thought he had a great tour. He scores tries that not many wingers I've seen around would score. His competitiveness one on one is something plus he's got real pace."
