"Everyone is a bit down after Sunday's defeat. We didn't play well at all and it was just one of those frustrating days when nothing came off for us. Our set-pieces were particularly disappointing and need to be worked on before we take on France on Sunday.
"Against Ireland we won a lot of line-out ball at the front and back but lost out in the middle. The line-out and scrum have traditionally been areas of strength for us and we need to sharpen up there to compete in Paris.
"It will be very difficult against the French because they are a world class side, but quite a few of the guys have managed to win over there in the past. We will all be eager to make amends for what was a below par performance against Ireland and we can't allow confidence levels to dip after one setback.
"The Irish showed us what a confident side can achieve and taught us how to take chances on the break. Those are lessons we have to learn - and fast."
